The whole thing with the O'Briens was so lame. Curtis and Good were lot bigger parts of the story than they got credit for. Physically they got Quatermain more right small wiry older than Steward Granger but I always like Alan, the actor was a humorless drip. But in many ways this movie followed the book plot better than other adaptations.
